## Description

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant Medical Oncologist** to join its expanding cancer care team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive oncology care, including cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, systemic therapy, and long-term management of patients with a broad range of malignancies. The role offers an opportunity to work within a modern oncology environment with advanced treatment facilities and a multidisciplinary team.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of malignant conditions.
-   Develop individualized cancer treatment plans based on clinical findings, pathology, imaging, and treatment guidelines.
-   Administer and manage systemic anti-cancer therapies as appropriate.
-   Monitor treatment response, side effects, and disease progression.
-   Provide comprehensive follow-up and survivorship care.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning meetings.
-   Collaborate closely with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
-   Manage oncology-related complications and treatment-related adverse effects.
-   Provide appropriate patient and family counseling regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in clinical audits, research, quality improvement, and continuing professional development.
-   Maintain high standards of patient safety, evidence-based practice, and clinical governance.

## Requirements

-   MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology**.
-   Relevant post-specialization experience in oncology.
-   Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of solid tumors and/or hematological malignancies.
-   Candidates with **UK CCT / MRCP, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board**, or equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualifications are encouraged to apply.
-   Experience in a tertiary-care hospital or comprehensive cancer center preferred.
-   Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
-   Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
-   Commitment to patient-centered cancer care and clinical excellence.
-   Subspecialty expertise in breast, gastrointestinal, lung, genitourinary, gynecological, or hematological oncology will be an advantage.
