## Description

### Position Overview

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced **Consultant Intensive Care Specialist with Australian Board qualification** to join its critical care team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients and contribute to high standards of intensive care delivery.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide consultant-level care to critically ill and high-dependency patients.
-   Manage complex medical and surgical intensive care cases.
-   Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized critical care plans.
-   Manage mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, sepsis, multi-organ failure, and other critical conditions.
-   Perform and supervise appropriate invasive and non-invasive critical care procedures.
-   Coordinate patient care with emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, and other specialties.
-   Participate in rapid response, resuscitation, and emergency management.
-   Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans and clinical progress.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, teaching, audit, research, and quality-improvement activities.

## Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **Australian Board/Fellowship qualification in Intensive Care Medicine**, such as **FCICM** or equivalent recognized qualification.
-   Relevant consultant-level clinical experience.
-   Current specialist registration and good professional standing.
-   Experience in a tertiary-care or academic hospital is preferred.
-   Eligible for **DOH/DHA medical licensing**, depending on the location.
-   Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
