### **Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced **Consultant / Specialist – Brain Injury Medicine** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, focusing on diagnosis, rehabilitation, recovery planning, and improving long-term patient outcomes through multidisciplinary care.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Assess and manage patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), acquired brain injuries, and related neurological conditions.
-   Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needs.
-   Monitor neurological recovery and functional outcomes.
-   Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
-   Manage cognitive, behavioral, and functional impairments following brain injury.
-   Participate in patient and family education regarding recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term care.
-   Maintain accurate medical documentation and clinical records.
-   Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and continuous medical education

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with a recognized specialization in **Brain Injury Medicine, Neurology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or related specialty**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialty experience** in brain injury management or rehabilitation.
-   Strong knowledge of neurological assessment, rehabilitation principles, and multidisciplinary patient care.
-   Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
