## Description

We are seeking an experienced **General Surgeon** with a **UK CCT** to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical assessment, treatment, and post-operative care for patients with a broad range of general surgical conditions.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess, diagnose, and develop appropriate surgical treatment plans.
-   Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures within the scope of clinical practice.
-   Manage common surgical conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, abdomen, hernias, breast, skin, and soft tissues.
-   Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
-   Identify and manage surgical emergencies and post-operative complications.
-   Conduct outpatient surgical consultations and follow-up assessments.
-   Work closely with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Support teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
-   Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

## Requirements

-   **UK CCT in General Surgery** or recognized equivalent.
-   Valid medical registration in the UK or current country of practice.
-   Relevant post-CCT experience in General Surgery.
-   Strong operative and clinical decision-making skills.
-   Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
-   Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the relevant health authority's assessment.
