## Description

A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant Ophthalmologist with American Board certification** to diagnose and manage eye diseases, provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, and perform relevant procedures according to their specialty and clinical privileges.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Diagnose and treat eye diseases and vision disorders.
-   Perform comprehensive eye examinations and interpret diagnostic investigations.
-   Manage conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and corneal diseases.
-   Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of clinical privileges.
-   Develop treatment plans and provide preoperative and postoperative care.
-   Monitor patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare specialists.

## Requirements

-   American Board certification in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
-   Relevant postgraduate training and clinical experience in ophthalmology.
-   Experience in ophthalmic diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures relevant to the position.
-   Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate, where applicable.
