### **Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced **Consultant / Specialist – Pediatric Surgeon** to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will provide specialized surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing a wide range of congenital, developmental, and acquired surgical conditions while ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and provide surgical management for pediatric patients with congenital and acquired conditions.
-   Perform pediatric surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
-   Manage emergency pediatric surgical cases and complex clinical conditions.
-   Collaborate with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
-   Provide counseling and education to patients’ families regarding treatment options and surgical outcomes.
-   Monitor patient recovery and ensure appropriate follow-up care.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and continuing medical education activities.
-   Support and mentor junior medical staff where applicable.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with a recognized specialization in **Pediatric Surgery**.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialty experience**.
