## Description

We are seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant in Brain Injury Medicine** with an **Australian Board/Fellowship qualification** to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation management for patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Assess and manage patients with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.
-   Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on the patient's clinical needs.
-   Manage patients with conditions including traumatic brain injury, concussion, stroke-related brain injury, and other acquired neurological impairments.
-   Monitor neurological status, recovery, and functional outcomes.
-   Coordinate multidisciplinary care involving neurology, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other specialists.
-   Provide medical management throughout the acute, subacute, and rehabilitation phases of care.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and rehabilitation.
-   Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
-   Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
-   Contribute to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
-   Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.

## Requirements

-   Recognized **Australian Board/Fellowship qualification** relevant to Brain Injury Medicine.
-   Valid medical registration in Australia or the country of current practice.
-   Relevant clinical experience in brain injury medicine, rehabilitation, neurology, or a closely related field.
-   Strong multidisciplinary and rehabilitation-focused clinical experience.
-   Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and decision-making skills.
