## Description

### Position Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive consultant-level care to infants, children and adolescents, managing a broad range of acute and chronic paediatric conditions. The role offers an opportunity to work in a **modern tertiary healthcare environment** alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis and treatment for paediatric patients.
-   Manage acute, chronic and complex paediatric conditions.
-   Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds and follow-ups.
-   Assess and manage paediatric emergencies when required.
-   Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
-   Monitor patient progress and coordinate ongoing care.
-   Work closely with Paediatric Surgery, Neonatology, Paediatric Cardiology and other specialties.
-   Provide guidance and supervision to junior doctors and medical staff.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
-   Support teaching and training of residents and junior medical staff.
-   Contribute to the development of paediatric services and clinical protocols.

## Requirements

-   Medical degree with recognised postgraduate qualification in **Paediatrics**.
-   **American Board, Canadian Board, Australian Board, Irish Board, CCT/CCST or equivalent** preferred.
-   Consultant-level clinical experience in Paediatrics.
-   Strong experience in a tertiary or multispecialty hospital setting.
-   Eligible for **DHA/DoH/MOHAP Consultant licensing**.
-   Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
