## Description

Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team in County Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to take on a varied position with responsibility across financial reporting, compliance and commercial support.

### The Role

### Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
-   Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
-   Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end audit requirements.
-   Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, tax and regulatory obligations.
-   Review financial performance and provide clear commercial insights.
-   Maintain strong financial controls and accurate accounting records.
-   Work closely with management and other stakeholders across the organisation.
-   Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.

## Requirements

### Candidate Requirements

-   Fully qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA or CPA or equivalent
-   At least one year of relevant accounting experience.
-   Previous experience in an accountancy practice.
-   Strong technical accounting and financial-reporting knowledge.
-   Confident communicator with the ability to explain financial information clearly to management and non-finance colleagues.
-   Experience dealing with external auditors.
-   Eligible to work in Ireland.
