## Description

**Position Purpose**:

_This position is responsible for managing the overall performance of the sales staff and other departmental resources to achieve departmental objectives and budgets._

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

-   Work with General Manager, Regional Company Manager and Regional Marketing Manager to develop the Company's Annual Strategic Plans and budgets.
-   Develops a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability, covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, and realistic forecasts for each product and territory and sales and marketing promotion programme plan.
-   Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales and marketing  team by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.
-   Develops and implements annual marketing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager and analyse trends and results.
-   Establishes, maintains and expands customer base by identifying opportunities for sales growth with new and existing customers.
-   Plans and executes all Company Service Days, brand activations and any dealer events.
-   Develops and ensures compliance of Route-To-Market (RTM) process.
-   Make sales calls to assigned accounts and pay regular visits to the trade to ensure the Division is offering efficient and effective service; approximately 40% of the time should be spent on the trade.
-   Monitors sales trends of the Division’s products and keeps Sales Representatives fully informed at all times of objectives, progress and future plans, so that in-market activities can be implemented.
-   Monitoring of Sales reps activities on go spot Check and using the software to create and update missions and provide weekly visits reports.
-   Manages Accounts Receivable for accounts under his/her control, ensuring compliance with the Company’s guidelines.
-   Advises senior management on maximising business relationships and creates an environment where customer service can flourish.
-   Manages the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible.
-   Monitors and motivates sales team performance by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, incentive programmes, and weekly cyclical sales meetings.
-   Manages Key Customer relationships.
-   Attends trade meetings and industry conventions where required.
-   Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts.
-   Plans and coordinates Marketing activities.
-   Prepares and monitors the marketing budget on a monthly basis.
-   Oversees and approves all marketing material (e.g. catalogues, t-shirts, flyers, banners, PoP, trade signage, etc).
-   Manages the company’s social media forums and digital presence.
-   Measures and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns and assesses against goals.
-   Any other related responsibilities that may be assigned by Management.

## Requirements

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

-   Bachelor’s Degree in Management with Marketing or related field as an elective.
-   A minimum of five (5) years sales experience, with at least three (3) years at a managerial level.
-   Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
