> Shiftmove · Berlin, Germany (Hybrid) · — · Posted 2026-05-04

**Workplace:** hybrid

**Department:** Financial Planning and Analysis

## Description

Across Europe, fleets are under enormous pressure. Fuel costs are rising. Regulatory requirements are tightening. The shift to low-emission vehicles is accelerating. And yet around 70% of European businesses still manage their fleets manually, with spreadsheets, disconnected tools, and processes that were never built for this moment.

Shiftmove exists to make this process simple that. We are a profitable B2B SaaS company and the fastest-growing fleet management platform in Europe, born from the merger of Avrios and Vimcar, and now serving over tens of thousands of corporate customers across Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and beyond. Our AI-powered platform connects real-time vehicle data with intelligent software so that businesses can procure smarter, control costs, stay compliant, and lead the transition to cleaner mobility, all from one place.

We have a clear goal: one million vehicles managed on our platform by 2027. We are already at 730,000. The next chapter is about execution, and that is where you come in.

### **The Role**

This role sits in a lean, high-output FP&A team of three, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. You will have real access, real ownership, and real influence over how we allocate capital, forecast growth, and tell our story to investors and leadership.

Shiftmove is a PE-backed profitable business, and part of what makes this moment interesting is that the function itself is still being built. We are professionalising our planning and reporting infrastructure: new tooling, better structures, and cleaner data flows. You would land right in the middle of that build, with a direct say in how it takes shape.

### **What You Will Own**

- Lead and improve our monthly close and reporting cycle, owning commentary, driving insights, and challenging what is moving and why
- Act as a finance business partner to a part of our org, sitting with stakeholders, building trust, and translating numbers into decisions
- Contribute to board reporting, clear, confident, and backed by solid analysis
- Own and develop our forecasting process, including driver-based models for revenue, headcount, and core SaaS metrics
- Comfortable going deep in data eg Snowflake, SQL. You don't wait for a BI report to land in your inbox, you go find the answer yourself
- Build scenario models that help leadership make capital-efficient decisions under uncertainty
- Help develop the team members as the function scales

**What the First 6 Months Might Look Like**

- Months 1 to 2: Get into the reporting cycle. Understand the business, the model, the data sources, and the quirks. Start taking ownership of close commentary and specific reporting areas
- Months 3 to 4: Take on business partnering. Start sitting with leaders, running your own forecasting conversations
- Months 5 to 6: You are driving. Reporting is yours. Forecasting is yours. You are pushing ideas on how to do things better

### **Who are you**

- Curious by default, you think about problems, come in with a new angle, you work with AI tools
- FP&A experience in a SaaS or software company (B2B or B2C, but software is non-negotiable)
- Solid command of SaaS metrics: ARR, churn, CAC, GRR, NRR, you do not need these explained to you
- Experience owning reporting cycles, not just running them, but improving them
- Strong business partnering instincts, you can sit with business leaders, understand their world, and bring it back into finance language
- Comfortable working with imperfect data and building a structure where there is none
- You challenge up. If you think something is wrong, say so

### **Benefits**

- **Vacation:** 30 days
- **Workation:** Up to 6 weeks per year working remotely from anywhere in the world
- **Dog-friendly office:** Because furry coworkers make everything better! 🐶
- **Development**: €2,000 annual budget for personal and professional development
- **Main benefits:** Urban Sports Club membership, Hrmony subscription, JobRad, or a subsidy for a BVG ticket
- **Wellbeing**: 1 Mental Health Day + Access to nilo.health
- **For foodies**: Free lunch once per week, biweekly company breakfast, and 24/7 available drinks & snacks 🍕

### **
Why This Role**

- Real scope from day one, you will not spend 18 months shadowing before you get ownership
- PE-backed context means your work directly influences how the business is valued and how decisions get made at the top
- You are shaping the FP&A function as it matures, tooling, process, and how finance shows up across the business
- A company on a mission that is actually measurable: one million vehicles, cleaner fleets, a category being built in real time
