We’re well into our second century as a continuous, family owned and operated organization. Founded by Alex Simon in 1900 as Simon Roofing and Sheet Metal Company, the company is now run by the third and fourth generations of the Simon family who, like the previous generations, believe in always working hard, providing customers with the best possible level of service and making safety a top priority.
This way of doing business is known as The Simon Creed, “if we falter, our customers will never suffer,” a philosophy that has been and will continue to be carried on by all generations of Simon Roofing and affiliated companies.
Over the years, Simon Roofing has experienced an astonishing period of growth – from a single office serving one local area and one aspect of the business – to a national, multi-faceted commercial roofing and surfaces company with hundreds of employees and 66 locations across the United States. As a result, we’re well equipped to help customers manage and protect their buildings, no matter the size or location of them.
Simon Roofing is dedicated to the science of roofing, and with that in mind, we’ve expanded to include not only a manufacturing facility to create and produce our own roofing materials, but also a state-of-the-art laboratory for research and development, and roof membrane testing and analysis.

Simon Products serves as the product development and manufacturing division of Simon Roofing. As part of an ISO-certified company, our Simon Products state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing facility combines forward-thinking technology with science-based industry knowledge to continually develop advanced commercial roof and floor systems for us that not only meet, but exceed industry standards.
The manufacturing facility, which opened in 2010, incorporates contemporary “LEAN manufacturing” principles that focus on minimum waste and maximum productivity. This includes intense quality control standards that ensure our products are produced consistently time and time again, maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing waste.
