**Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

**Pay:** $74–$76 per hour for travel candidates;

$68–$70 per hour for local candidates

**Job Type:** Temporary Travel Assignment

**Assignment Dates:** November 23, 2026 – February 20, 2027

**Assignment Length:** 13 weeks

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a temporary assignment at Wynn Hospital in Utica, NY. Wynn Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center, a chest pain center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Emergency Department provides care to newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, including those experiencing trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, respiratory failure, and psychiatric emergencies.

The RN will provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment, assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team. Floating to other units is required.

**Shift Details**

-   Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week.
-   Shift Hours: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM.
-   Shift Type: Day shift.
-   Hours Available: 36 or 48 hours per week, depending on the assignment schedule.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

-   Active New York State RN license, verified through Nursys.
-   Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
-   Some pediatric (PEDS) experience — required.
-   Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience — required.
-   **Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC -all required**
-   Up to date resume.

## Requirements
