## Description

-   Plan, write and maintain installation, implementation, administration and user guides, release notes and online help for enterprise software products.
-   Work with developers, QA, product and support to gather accurate technical details and keep documentation aligned with each release.
-   Own documentation standards: style guide, templates, terminology, and single-sourcing across products.
-   Manage authoring and publishing workflows (Flare or MkDocs, Git, automated HTML/PDF builds), and migrate legacy Word, PDF and Flare content to modern formats.
-   Use AI tools to draft, edit, convert and audit content, and structure content for AI search and chatbots. Always verify output for accuracy and confidentiality.
-   Mentor junior writers, run review cycles and improve documentation using customer and support feedback.

## Requirements

-   **Writing:** 6+ years of clear, task-based technical writing, information architecture and style-guide discipline.
-   **Authoring tools:** MadCap Flare, MkDocs/Markdown, Confluence, plus Word and PDF publishing; Snagit and draw.io for visuals.
-   **Docs-as-code:** Git (Bitbucket/GitHub), CI/CD builds, basic HTML/CSS, YAML (Optional)
-   **AI knowledge:** AI-assisted writing and conversion, tools such as Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT, and AI-ready content (modular topics, metadata, RAG).
-   **Technical and domain:** databases, installation and configuration, REST APIs; financial or enterprise software experience is a plus.
-   **Collaboration:** SME interviewing, Agile release planning, stakeholder management.
