## Description

This is a Automation Lead role in the QA team in where you will have an opportunity to work in a cross-cultural growing team. You will be involved in designing and developing automation frameworks for the financial products used by the world’s leading Investment Banks. You will be required to have strong technical experience in automation and manual testing to take you ahead in the career.

### What You'll Do:

You will lead and mentor a team of automation engineers, setting technical direction, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. You will architect and build scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks from the ground up, ensuring they align with the complexity and compliance demands of financial domain applications. Working closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders, you will define automation strategies and ensure they integrate seamlessly into the software delivery lifecycle. You will champion best practices in test design, framework architecture, and reporting standards across the team.

### Job Responsibilities

Proven experience leading QA teams — guiding automation engineers, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, and driving individual growth

-   Lead automation testing efforts across multiple projects.
-   Identify the areas which can be automated
-   Design, develop, execute and maintain automation frameworks using Python/Playwright/Selenium.
-   Perform API testing and integrate it into automation suites.
-   Collaborate with development, operation and Business user to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
-   Conduct DAST testing and work with security teams to address vulnerabilities.
-   Use JIRA Xray for test case management, execution, and reporting.
-   Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in automation and testing.
-   Develop and execute the automation testing scripts
-   Build reusable code and libraries for future use

### Key Skills

1\. Experience in Test Automation framework (Playwright, Python, Selenium – Cucumber /UFT/Any tool)

2\. Stronghold on any one programming/scripting language (Java/Python/JavaScript/Any other)

3\. Experience in services/API testing automation (Jmeter/Any tool)

4\. Good exposure to SQL and Unix

5\. Exposure to Test Management and Version control software will be added advantage (Jira/Git/Bitbucket)

6\. Experience in testing web-based applications

7\. Understanding of Agile – software development lifecycle

8\. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

9\. Proficiency in using JIRA Xray for test management.

10\. Hands-on experience with AI-powered developer and testing tools — specifically one or more of Amazon Q, Kiro, Claude (Anthropic), or Atlassian Rovo in a professional setting

11\. Ability to leverage AI assistants for test script generation, automated code reviews, defect triage, and test documentation to improve team productivity

12\. Experience integrating AI tools into QA workflows — using Amazon Q or Claude to generate and maintain test cases, or Rovo to surface insights from Jira and Confluence for smarter testing decisions

13\. Awareness of responsible AI usage in regulated environments — understanding limitations, hallucinations, and governance considerations when applying AI tools in financial domain testing

### Desirable Skills

Big plus :

-   Knowledge of capital markets
-   Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
-   Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
-   ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
