**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Commissioning Manager will lead the structured verification of mission-critical systems from design review through startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing, and turnover. This is a highly visible role for someone who can connect design intent, field execution, operations readiness, and reliable facility performance.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Develop and manage commissioning plans, scopes, schedules, scripts, checklists, and issue logs
-   Review design documents, submittals, sequences of operation, and controls narratives for testability and performance
-   Coordinate factory testing, installation verification, prefunctional checks, startup, functional testing, and integrated systems testing
-   Lead commissioning meetings and align owners, designers, contractors, vendors, and operations teams
-   Verify critical electrical, mechanical, controls, life-safety, and monitoring systems against project requirements
-   Document deficiencies, drive corrective action, and maintain clear evidence of closure
-   Support training, operating-procedure development, seasonal testing, and final turnover
-   Promote safe testing practices in energized and operational environments

### REQUIREMENTS

-   Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
-   7+ years of commissioning, startup, testing, or mission-critical facility experience
-   Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, backup power, cooling, controls, and integrated system dependencies
-   Experience developing functional performance and integrated systems test procedures
-   BCxP, CxA, CCP, PE, or comparable commissioning credential preferred
-   Strong technical writing, leadership, issue-management, and client communication skills
-   Ability to travel regularly and work around project startup and testing schedules
