### Position Overview

**Contract Period:** September 2026–January 2027  
**Estimated Time Commitment:** 5–10 hours per week  
**Rate:** $32–$38/hour, commensurate with experience  
**Engagement Type:** Independent Contractor  
**Extension Opportunity:** Potential opportunity to extend for an additional 4 – 6 months.

Connecticut is investing in early childhood education through a historic Early Child Education Endowment and a statewide goal to expand affordable, high-quality child care. Since 2020, Social Impact Partners (SIP) has supported this work through partnership with the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood, contributions to the Blue Ribbon Panel on Child Care, Child Care for CT, and direct support to ECE organizations that are essential to Connecticut’s children, families, workforce, and communities.

SIP is seeking a **reliable, proactive, and highly organized contractor** to provide administrative, logistical, and project support for SIP's Early Child Education Growth Accelerator. This role offers the opportunity to help mission-driven organizations become stronger, more sustainable, and better positioned to serve children and families.

The contractor will help ensure program preparation, cohort sessions, and follow-up activities run smoothly, with a focus on strong execution, organization, and attention to detail.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, anticipate needs, and provide occasional in-person logistical support.

Social Impact Partners is a Connecticut nonprofit working to close the opportunity divide and increase economic mobility. We partner with government, business, education, and nonprofit leaders to advance equitable education and workforce systems, from early learning through meaningful employment. SIP works locally and statewide to help partners understand complex problems, develop strategies, and carry out work through implementation.

## Requirements

### Major Responsibilities

·       Coordinate program supplies, participant materials, printing, binders, folders, and giveaways.

·       Research and coordinate venues, catering, and other session logistics.

·       Support volunteer orientation and cohort session preparation.

·       Proofread and organize program materials.

·       Maintain organized electronic files and upload materials to SharePoint.

·       Coordinate with vendors and obtain required documentation, such as Certificates of Insurance.

·       Provide occasional local support, including venue visits, food pickup, or transporting materials.

·       Support post-program organization, documentation, and wrap-up activities.

·       Track expenses and coordinating payments with Director of Operations

### Ideal Qualifications

·       Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.

·       Takes initiative and anticipates needs with limited oversight.

·       Can manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities effectively.

·       Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, vendors, and partners.

·       Comfortable conducting research, comparing options, and making practical recommendations.

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning SharePoint.

·       Flexible and willing to provide occasional in-person logistical support.

Experience supporting events, professional learning programs, nonprofit organizations, or project coordination is helpful but not required.
