## Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, fluent **German-Speaking AML/KYC Analyst** to join our Compliance & Financial Crime team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification processes for German-speaking clients. You will ensure full regulatory compliance, verify user identities, conduct enhanced due diligence (EDD), and detect suspicious activities to safeguard our platform and operations.

**Responsibilities**

-   Perform identity verification and KYC/AML reviews for new and existing German-speaking customer accounts.
-   Analyze client documentation, corporate structures, and Proof of Address/Identity according to EU AML directives and internal compliance policies.
-   Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high-risk individuals, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and sanctioned entities.
-   Monitor transaction alerts and flag potential suspicious financial activities or fraud indicators.
-   Communicate with German-speaking clients via email or secure portal to request missing compliance documentation.
-   Prepare detailed SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports) and escalate high-risk cases to Compliance Managers.
-   Stay updated on German financial regulations, BaFin guidelines, and international AML regulatory requirements.

## Requirements

-   Native or C2-level proficiency in **German** (written and verbal)
-   Fluent in **English** (C1/C2).
-   1–3 years of experience in AML, KYC, CDD, or Fraud Operations (preferably within Fintech, Banking, iGaming, or BPO environments).
-   Understanding of EU AML directives, KYC guidelines, and fraud detection mechanisms.
-   Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to review complex documentation.
-   Familiarity with compliance software, verification platforms and CRM system management.
-   High level of discretion, integrity, and strong communication skills.
