You will work as part of a team under the supervision of the QA Coordinator; finding, reporting and working through errors in the assigned game; following test plans and completing assigned tasks on time. Execution of other duties under the leadership of the QA management.

**Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.**

## Requirements

**Roles, Responsibilities and KPIs**

-   Game testing and proofreading
-   Identifying and reporting linguistic errors and in-game defects

-   Accuracy: Ensuring all translated content is correct and not misleading.
-   Contextual Appropriateness: Verifying that the text is appropriate for the context in which it appears.

-   Correct display: Confirming that the text is displayed correctly on screen
-   General tasks in the area of quality assurance (QA)

-   Checking anything linked to the game (e.g. website, companion app)
-   Other general QA tasks

**Qualification & Skills**

Essential

-   Excellent native German language skills and a good eye for detail
-   Good communication skills in English
-   Knowledge about role-playing games and console games
-   Clear communication (spoken & written)
-   Able to work methodically and logically
-   Able to work under pressure and on time

Desirable

-   Knowledge of MMORPGs (especially Final Fantasy XIV)
-   Previous industry experience in QA testing
-   A lively interest in computer games
