### **Role overview**

We are looking for a **SAP Analyst-Programmer** to design, build and test solutions within our SAP environment. You will turn business requirements into working software, working closely with end users, business analysts and the wider technical team.

## Requirements

**The ideal candidate will be responsible for:**

-   Analyse user and functional requirements.
-   Turn functional requirements into technical specifications, technical designs and effort estimates.
-   Build prototypes of IT systems, modules, and components.
-   Write and customise SAP software, programming with ABAP or Java.
-   Test solutions (unit and integration testing) and validate results.
-   Write technical and functional documentation, including material for the support team.
-   Help train system users, working with the support team.
-   Check that products delivered by external suppliers meet the project's requirements.
-   Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and support users.
-   Take part in meetings with end users.

**To excel in this role, you'll need:**

-   University Master's degree is mandatory for for mid level candidates.
-   At least 1 year of experience with financial/accounting consultancy or financial IT systems.
-   Solid, hands-on experience building software applications.
-   Good knowledge of designing and building web and multi-tier applications.
-   Familiarity with modelling techniques such as UML, BPMN, or entity-relationship diagrams.
-   Knowledge of software development methods such as SAP Activate, RUP, Agile, Scrum, or SAP ASAP.
-   Knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS) and SAP HANA.
-   The ability to adapt quickly as technology changes.
-   Comfort working in multilingual meetings and communicating clearly, both orally and in writing.

**Nice to have:**

-   Experience with traditional SAP development and testing tools, such as ABAP, ABAP Objects, ABAP Workbench, Dynpro, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, SAP Workflow, or eCATT.
-   Knowledge of SAP Smartforms.
-   Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP Process Integration (PI), SAP J2EE, or web services (WSDL, XML).
-   SOA experience within SAP (e.g. SAP Composition Environment, SAP PI).
-   Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA.
