### **Role overview**

We are looking for a **Software Factory Architect** to join one of our public sector clients based in Warsaw. You'll be the technical authority shaping how software is designed, built, and delivered across the organisation.

## Requirements

**The ideal candidate will be responsible for:  
**

-   Acting as a trusted technical advisor across software engineering teams.
-   Designing and evolving the software development lifecycle and processes.
-   Reviewing and recommending end-to-end solution architectures for complex projects.
-   Defining architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
-   Owning and evolving the engineering vision across the software factory.
-   Ensuring consistency and alignment of architectures at enterprise level.
-   Providing consultations and mentoring to senior engineers and technical leads.

**To excel in this role, you'll need:  
**

-   At least **8** **years** of IT experience and **5 years** in an architecture role.
-   Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
-   Proven experience designing enterprise-scale and cloud-native distributed systems.
-   Hands-on development background in backend and/or frontend technologies (.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar).
-   Strong DevSecOps knowledge: CI/CD platform design, containerisation, orchestration, and platform engineering.
-   Experience as a recognised technical leader - influencing teams and driving decisions without direct authority.
-   Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate architecture vision clearly.
-   **At least 2 certifications** from the following:

-   Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent)
-   Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (or equivalent)
-   Red Hat Certified Architect - RHCA (or equivalent)

-   English **B2 level certification** or higher**.  
    **

**Nice to have:  
**

-   Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
-   Experience modelling systems in ArchiMate notation.
-   Strong understanding of architecture styles and patterns.
