## Description

**Senior Solution Architect (Application)**

-   Own the end-to-end technical design of applications, including services, APIs, integrations, and system communication.
-   Define and guide application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
-   Design APIs and integrations across multiple systems.
-   Guide engineering teams on architectural and technical design decisions.
-   Review implemented solutions to ensure alignment with the defined architecture.
-   Maintain clear and practical architecture documentation that can be easily followed by new engineers.
-   Design and support event-driven architectures using Kafka.
-   Work with self-managed infrastructure rather than managed cloud services.
-   Contribute with a strong hands-on background across both backend and frontend development.
-   Apply solution/application architecture experience within a product-company environment.

## Requirements

-   Proven experience owning solution or application architecture, beyond senior-level development responsibilities.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **Java** and **Spring Boot**.
-   Strong knowledge of **REST API design** and **microservices architecture**.
-   Experience designing integrations and communication between multiple systems.
-   Hands-on experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
-   Experience with **event-driven architecture and Kafka**.
-   Strong backend and frontend technical background.
-   Experience working with **self-managed infrastructure** rather than relying primarily on managed cloud services.
-   Ability to document architecture clearly and practically for engineering teams.
-   Experience working in a **product company**, rather than project delivery only.
-   Strong ability to guide engineering teams and make architectural design decisions.
