### Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced **Senior SAS BI Developer** to design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise analytics and reporting solutions using the **SAS Business Intelligence Platform**.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with **SAS 9.4, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, Stored Processes, data processing, analytical workflows, testing, and enterprise reporting environments**. You will work closely with developers, analysts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable SAS solutions.

### Key Responsibilities

### SAS Development & Analytics

-   Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs and analytical workflows based on business and technical requirements.
-   Implement data transformation, processing, analysis, and reporting logic.
-   Develop backend and frontend analytical functionality using SAS tools and scripting.
-   Troubleshoot and optimize existing SAS applications and processes.

### SAS BI Platform

-   Develop and execute analytical processes within the **SAS Business Intelligence Platform**.
-   Use **SAS Enterprise Guide** and **SAS Studio** for development, testing, and execution.
-   Develop, maintain, and support **SAS Stored Processes** and analytical jobs.
-   Support web-accessible analytical applications and reporting solutions.

### Data Processing & Integration

-   Build and maintain data processing pipelines and analytical workflows.
-   Integrate SAS solutions with enterprise data sources and downstream analytical/reporting systems.
-   Work with large datasets while ensuring efficient and optimized processing.
-   Perform data validation and resolve data quality or processing issues.

### Testing & Quality

-   Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and validation tests for SAS programs.
-   Validate analytical results against business and technical requirements.
-   Investigate defects and implement appropriate fixes.
-   Support QA activities and production issue resolution.

### DevOps & Delivery

-   Follow enterprise development standards, procedures, and governance processes.
-   Support CI/CD, deployment, automation, and release activities where applicable.
-   Contribute to improving development, testing, and deployment processes.

### Collaboration & Documentation

-   Work with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
-   Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies where applicable.
-   Prepare and maintain technical, functional, and user documentation.
-   Clearly communicate technical solutions, progress, risks, and issues.

### Required Skills & Experience

-   **8–10+ years of hands-on SAS programming and analytics development experience.**
-   Strong experience with the **SAS Business Intelligence Platform**.
-   Hands-on experience with **SAS Enterprise Guide**.
-   Hands-on experience with **SAS Studio**.
-   Strong experience developing and executing **SAS Stored Processes**.
-   Experience working with **SAS 9.4**, preferably M4–M7.
-   Strong knowledge of SAS data processing, transformation, and analytical workflows.
-   Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
-   Strong understanding of software testing, validation, debugging, and defect resolution.
-   Experience documenting technical and analytical solutions.
-   Strong communication and collaboration skills.

### Nice-to-Have Skills

-   Experience with **AWS / Cloud environments**.
-   Experience supporting **QA activities**.
-   Experience working in **SCRUM / Agile** teams.
-   Exposure to **FAME (Forecasting Analytic Modelling Environment) / MarketMap Analytic Platform**.
-   Experience with **Oracle OLAP**.
