**Position Overview:**

Join our dynamic team at SSC Advisors, Inc., and SSC CPAs P.A., where we are actively seeking a talented and dedicated Tax Associate.  

 **Qualifications:**

-   Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
-   Excellent time management skills
-   Dedication to client service meets internal and external client deliverables.

-   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-   Strong working knowledge of general accounting and accounting systems
-   Understanding of the technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance

 **Responsibilities:**

-   Tax return preparation and/or review based on qualifications
-   Respond to IRS and State tax notices.
-   Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations.
-   Complete state and local tax filings.
-   Ensure returns are prepared accurately and filed timely.
-   Communicate directly with clients to request information and answer questions.
-   Build and maintain client relationships.
-   Manage multiple engagements and deadlines during tax season.

## Requirements

-   Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
-   CPA or EA preferred

-   3-4 years of tax experience in public accounting
-   Proven proficiency in the preparation of tax returns
-   Experience with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax/Accounting CS a plus
-   Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
