Sharp Medical Group is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused **Virtual Medical Receptionist / Medical Administrative Assistant** to join our growing healthcare team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while supporting a busy, multi-provider medical practice. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently manage a high-volume multi-line phone system, and communicates professionally in both English and Spanish.

Experience with **AccidentMate / OrganizedMED** is a plus but not required.

## Requirements

### What You'll Do

### Phone & Patient Support

-   Answer and manage a high-volume multi-line VOIP phone system.
-   Professionally greet patients and callers.
-   Route calls accurately to the appropriate department.
-   Take detailed messages and ensure timely delivery.
-   Handle patient inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
-   Maintain excellent customer service during every interaction.

### Appointment Management

-   Confirm upcoming patient appointments.
-   Process cancellations and rescheduling requests.
-   Update provider schedules within the EMR.
-   Ensure patients receive appointment reminders and instructions.

### Administrative Support

-   Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR.
-   Document patient communications.
-   Support daily administrative workflows.
-   Assist providers and office staff with general administrative tasks.

### Patient Communication

-   Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
-   Answer general patient questions and direct inquiries appropriately.

### Required Qualifications

-   Minimum **2 years** of experience as a:

-   Medical Receptionist
-   Medical Administrative Assistant
-   Front Desk Coordinator

-   Bilingual English & Spanish (Required)

## Benefits

**Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a negotiable pay rate depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM US Time Zone.**
