## Description

We are seeking a high-energy, bilingual (English/Spanish) Patient Care & Referral Coordinator with deep cardiology experience to join a fast-paced, high-volume practice. The ideal candidate possesses direct experience securing procedural authorizations for cardiac interventions, managing complex referral pipelines, and utilizing eClinicalWorks (eCW), Spruce, and TigerConnect. We are looking for an outgoing, resilient team player who builds immediate rapport with patients and staff, speaks with a clear US-equivalent accent, and thrives in a dynamic environment wearing multiple administrative hats.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Cardiac Procedural Prior Authorizations:** Submit, track, and secure prior authorizations for specialized cardiac procedures, diagnostic testing, and medications, liaising directly with payer portals and medical directors.

**Referral Pipeline & Lead Management:** Oversee inbound and outbound referral workflows, coordinate with referring physician offices, review clinical charts, and schedule patient appointments efficiently.

**EHR & Telephony System Navigation:** Maintain clean, real-time documentation and internal communication using eClinicalWorks (eCW), Spruce Health, and TigerConnect.

**Multitasking & Operational Flexibility:** Adapt to shifting daily priorities, including taking inbound calls, assisting with patient intake/triage, confirming coverage, and supporting the front desk team during peak volume.

**Staff Collaboration & Communication:** Serve as a positive, clear, and proactive liaison between clinical staff, doctors, hospital systems, and patients while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

## Requirements

**Specialty Experience:** Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in Cardiology / Cardiac Care managing procedural authorizations and specialist referrals.

**EHR & Software Proficiency:** Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW), Spruce Health, and TigerConnect.

**Language & Tone:** Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, outstanding verbal/written skills, and a warm, charismatic phone personality.

**Resilience & Professional Adaptability:** Strong backbone and high emotional intelligence to handle fast-paced clinical operational demands, navigate interdepartmental communications smoothly, and maintain a cheerful, solutions-driven attitude.

**Compliance & Setup:** Meticulous attention to detail, strong knowledge of insurance guidelines, and a secure, HIPAA-compliant remote work environment.

**Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EST.**
