We’re looking for a detail-oriented, fast and accurate **Architectural Drafter** with strong AutoCAD skills. You’ll support a California-based architecture firm that produces permit-ready construction documents for residential and small multifamily projects, mostly ADUs, garage conversions and small apartment buildings. Our team in Los Angeles handles all code research, zoning analysis and plan check strategy. Your focus is clean, efficient drawing production from our standard templates and redlines. **What You’ll Be Doing:**

-   Produce complete architectural permit sets in AutoCAD from redlines, markups and project templates
-   Set up base drawings and site plans from land surveys
-   Adapt the standard unit plans and detail library to each new site
-   Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, wall sections, details and schedules
-   Integrate structural, MEP and Title 24 consultant drawings into the set
-   Make plan check corrections from marked-up PDFs
-   Keep files named, organized and backed up to company standards

**What We’re Looking For:**

-   Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
-   Advanced, hands-on AutoCAD experience
-   Proven experience producing architectural permit or construction document sets, preferably for US clients
-   Experience with residential or small multifamily projects (ADUs and garage conversions are a plus)
-   Familiarity with California permit sets and Title 24 documentation is a plus
-   Ability to read and work from land surveys, redlines and marked-up PDFs
-   Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and turnaround times
-   Available to work in US time zones (Pacific Time; graveyard shift in the Philippines)
-   Available to start within 2 weeks of a job offer

**Technical Requirements:**

-   Comfortable using time trackers (e.g., Time Doctor)
-   Own laptop or desktop that can run AutoCAD, plus noise-cancelling headphones and a webcam
-   Licensed AutoCAD access, or willingness to use client-provided licenses
-   Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps)
-   Backup equipment for power and internet outages
-   Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and PDF markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat)
