## Description

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated **Estimator** to join our team and support the successful delivery of competitive tenders and cost planning for a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects.
-   Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
-   Analyse labour, material, plant, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
-   Prepare comprehensive tender submissions and pricing schedules.
-   Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
-   Identify commercial risks and opportunities within tender documents.
-   Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and operational teams.
-   Support value engineering exercises and cost-saving initiatives.
-   Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
-   Monitor market trends, material prices, and industry developments.

## Requirements

-   Excellent written and spoken English (essential).
-   Previous experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, or similar role within the construction industry.
-   Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and technical documentation.
-   Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
-   Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-   Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
-   Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.

### Desirable Skills & Experience

-   Previous professional experience in the United Kingdom.
-   Experience working on UK construction or infrastructure projects.
-   Knowledge of UK construction practices, contracts, and standards.
-   Experience using estimating software such as Candy CCS, Bluebeam, Causeway, Conquest, or similar platforms.
-   Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
