The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is an independent international research institute engaged in environment and development issues at local, national, regional and global policy levels.
The SEI in Oxford, one of 7 SEI centres globally, has specific expertise in vulnerability assessment, adaptive management and risk governance within the field of climate change adaptation. SEI Oxford has built a reputation for working at the interface between the natural and social sciences, conducting research and developing participatory tools and methods to directly suppor the planning and operational work of partner organisations with an increasing emphasis on the co-creation of knowledge, notably through the weADAPT collaboration.
