**Role**

The selected candidate will work closely with the UAE Business Owner and a small operations team to manage and grow our social media presence, drive organic search performance, and support key marketing functions. We are looking for an experienced content, social media, and SEO operator.

**Responsibilities**

-   Video editing (short-form reels, match highlights, promo content) using CapCut Pro / Descript
-   Graphic design (game announcements, promos, sponsor content) via Canva + AI tools
-   Copywriting: post captions, community messages (AI-assisted via Claude/ChatGPT)
-   Content scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook (Buffer / Later)
-   Community management: DMs, comments, brand voice consistency
-   Monthly/weekly content calendar planning aligned with our game schedule
-   Coordinating with our UAE-based videographer for match-day capture assets
-   Google SEO ownership: keyword research, on-page optimisation, and long-form blog content aimed at ranking Stranger Soccer UAE #1 for high-intent search terms (e.g., "pickup football Dubai," "5-a-side Abu Dhabi," "football pitches near me UAE"). Directly own our organic search performance against key competitors
-   Content-for-SEO output: 2-4 SEO-optimised blog articles per month on our website targeting UAE-specific football search intent
-   Google Business Profile and local SEO maintenance across our venue locations

## Requirements

-   3+ years in social media / content role
-   2+ years hands-on SEO experience — keyword research, on-page optimisation, content strategy, proven track record ranking content on Google
-   Working knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics)
-   Proven portfolio of short-form video and design output
-   Fluent English
-   Ability to work independently and must be available for weekly sync at UAE morning time
-   Hands-on experience with CapCut Pro or Descript for video editing, Canva and AI tools for graphic design, and Claude or ChatGPT for AI-assisted copywriting
-   Experience using Buffer or Later to schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
-   Experience managing online communities and coordinating with external creatives such as videographers
-   Knowledge of the UAE market is a plus.
