## Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician with residential/commercial electrical experience. Must be proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing electrical issues, installing panels, breakers, switches, receptacles, fixtures, etc. and performing clean, code-compliant work. Ability to work both independently and with a team. Able to communicate professionally with customers and manage service calls from start to finish.

### Responsibilities

-   Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
-   Perform residential and commercial wiring, repairs, and electrical installations.
-   Conduct electrical testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance as required.
-   Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs, work performed, and recommendations.
-   Travel regularly between job sites to complete assigned work.
-   Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other job-site personnel.
-   Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency service calls as required.
-   Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and labor hours.
-   Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, company policies, and job-site requirements.

## Requirements

-   Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical service technician.
-   Current Journeyman Electrician certification/license, as required for the position and applicable jurisdiction.
-   Successful completion of a background check in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.
-   Valid driver's license and driving record that meet company and applicable insurance requirements.
-   Demonstrated experience with residential and commercial electrical wiring.
-   Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
-   Strong customer service and communication skills.
-   Effective problem-solving skills.

### Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The essential functions of this position may require the ability to:

-   Climb ladders and access attics, crawlspaces, and other confined or tight spaces.
-   Drive company vehicles or otherwise travel to customer locations.
-   Push, pull, carry, and handle tools and equipment required to perform electrical service work.
-   Use hand tools and perform fine, detailed work.
-   Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, reach, and work in various body positions.
-   Work in indoor and outdoor environments and in varying temperatures and weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.
