### **About the Role**

Sunreef Yachts is seeking a **proactive and detail-oriented Junior Material Planning Engineer** to support the planning and coordination of materials across multiple yacht construction projects.

Working closely with the **Systems and Mechanical Engineering teams**, you will ensure that all materials are accurately defined, sourced, and delivered in line with project timelines and production requirements. This role is key to maintaining alignment between **engineering, procurement, and production**, ensuring smooth execution across the build process.

This position is ideal for candidates with **1–2 years of experience**, preferably within the **marine or complex engineering industry**.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Plan and manage **material requirements** based on project schedules and engineering deliverables
-   Prepare and issue **RFQs (Requests for Quotation)** to suppliers
-   Analyze and compare supplier quotations in coordination with engineering and procurement teams
-   Raise and submit **Purchase Requests (PRs)** in alignment with project needs
-   Track and follow up on orders to ensure **on-time delivery** and identify potential delays
-   Maintain structured documentation of **BOMs, RFQs, POs, and supplier communications**
-   Monitor **inventory levels** and highlight shortages or inconsistencies
-   Coordinate closely with **Systems, Mechanical, and Production teams** to ensure material alignment
-   Support the resolution of **supply chain issues**, delays, and discrepancies
-   Contribute to the improvement of internal processes related to **material planning and tracking**

### **Requirements**

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering**
-   **1–2 years of experience** in material planning, procurement, or supply chain
-   Experience in the **marine / yacht industry** is highly preferred
-   Strong proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (data handling, tracking, basic analysis)
-   Basic knowledge of **CAD software** (AutoCAD or similar)
-   Ability to **read and interpret engineering drawings**
-   Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with **suppliers and internal teams**
-   Strong organizational skills with a structured and **follow-up-driven mindset**
