## Description

**This is a hybrid position with offices located in Mexico City.**

As the Sr. Product Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the full product development lifecycle, from validating product ideas and defining requirements to building and deploying production-ready applications. You will work directly with clients, shape product decisions, and develop AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

### **Responsibilities**

●      Lead client-facing conversations including discovery calls, roadmap discussions, sprint reviews, and product strategy sessions.

●      Evaluate product opportunities and challenge assumptions to ensure features align with business objectives and deliver meaningful value.

●      Own the end-to-end product development process, from scoping and planning to implementation and deployment.

●      Build and maintain full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript technologies, including Node.js, React, Next.js, and related frameworks.

●      Develop and maintain BDD test suites using Cucumber/Gherkin, ensuring acceptance criteria drive implementation and delivery quality.

●      Design and implement AI-powered product features leveraging LLMs, structured output workflows, retrieval systems, tool integrations, and agentic workflows.

●      Work directly with Anthropic APIs, Claude Code, MCP integrations, and other AI-native development tools as part of the engineering workflow.

## Requirements

●      Proven experience owning both product strategy and technical execution, making decisions about what should be built and how it should be implemented.

●      Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade applications.

●      Extensive experience with modern full-stack technologies such as Node.js, React, Next.js, and related ecosystems.

●      Hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, including function calling, structured outputs, streaming, prompt engineering, and AI workflow orchestration.

●      Strong understanding of AI application architecture, including retrieval systems, agent workflows, and tool-use patterns.

●      Ability to communicate effectively with founders, executives, and product stakeholders, translating business objectives into technical solutions.

●      Demonstrated experience making product decisions, challenging feature requests, and influencing roadmap direction based on business impact.

●      Ability to move from product discovery through production deployment with minimal oversight.

**Preferred**

●      Experience working in consulting, startup, or agency environments.

●      Familiarity with regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, or fintech.

●      Experience working with Anthropic APIs, Claude Code, MCP, or similar AI-native development tools.

●      Background building AI-first products and customer-facing AI experiences.
