## Description

At Syarah, we are building the future of automotive e-commerce in the region, with data at the core of our operations. We’re looking for a **Senior Data Specialist** to support and scale our data systems, analytics, and reporting capabilities.

This is a **hands-on role** where you will build reliable data pipelines, improve data quality, and generate insights that support business decisions across product, operations, and finance. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure on **GCP**.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
-   Develop and optimize Syarah’s data platform on **GCP** (BigQuery, Dataform, Cloud Run)
-   Design and maintain clean, scalable data models for reporting and analytics
-   Integrate data from multiple sources, including ERP and operational systems
-   Develop and maintain APIs (Flask or similar) for data access and integrations
-   Manage and monitor data workflows using Airflow or similar tools
-   Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
-   Support integration of tools like Mixpanel and Adjust for analytics and tracking
-   Build dashboards and reports for business teams
-   Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
-   Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to support data needs
-   Contribute to automation and internal tooling, including AI-related use cases where relevant

## Requirements

-   4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or similar roles
-   Strong experience with **GCP** (BigQuery preferred)
-   Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
-   Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
-   Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools
-   Experience with APIs (Flask or similar frameworks is a plus)
-   Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics best practices
-   Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Adjust) is a plus
-   Experience working with ERP systems is a plus
-   Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-   Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
