# Senior BIM Structural Engineer

## Description

On behalf of one of our clients, we are hiring an experienced BIM Structural Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Revit Structure, structural BIM modeling, rebar detailing, steel connections, shop drawings, and clash coordination, with hands-on experience delivering models up to LOD 400.

**Key Responsibilities**

\* Develop structural BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400 for concrete and steel structures.

\* Model reinforcement to fabrication level, including rebar sizes, shapes, laps, couplers, hooks, spacing, and congestion checks.

\* Prepare BBS, cutting lists, shop drawings, reinforcement drawings, and structural details.

\* Detail steel connections, including plates, bolts, welds, stiffeners, and anchor bolts.

\* Model embedded items, openings, sleeves, construction joints, and other structural elements.

\* Coordinate structural models with MEP and other disciplines and perform clash detection using Navisworks.

\* Prepare quantity take-offs for concrete, reinforcement, and formwork.

\* Review models against approved structural drawings and raise RFIs for discrepancies.

\* Prepare and update LOD 500 as-built models based on verified site information.

\* Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements and BIM standards.

## Requirements

\* Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a relevant discipline.

\* 5–8 years of relevant experience in structural BIM and technical office work.

\* Advanced knowledge of Revit Structure, including rebar modeling and detailing.

\* Proficiency in Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD.

\* Experience with LOD 400, shop drawings, BBS, BOQ/quantity take-off, RFIs, and as-built documentation.

\* Working knowledge of ISO 19650, BEP, CDE workflows, and BIM coordination.

\* Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or Autodesk Forma.

\* Knowledge of ACI, BS, or Eurocode is preferred.

\* Experience with Dynamo, precast/post-tensioned concrete, or rebar coupler systems is a plus.

\* Good English proficiency.

\* Engineering syndicate/board registration where applicable.
