## Description

We're looking for an experienced BIM Mechanical Engineer to develop, coordinate, and deliver detailed mechanical BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical engineering knowledge, advanced Revit MEP skills, and hands-on experience in fabrication-level modeling, BIM coordination, and technical documentation.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Develop and detail mechanical BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400, covering HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
-   Model ductwork and pipework to fabrication and installation standards, including fittings, valves, supports, insulation, and accessories.
-   Model mechanical equipment with accurate dimensions, clearances, and installation requirements.
-   Prepare mechanical shop drawings, including layouts, riser diagrams, plant room layouts, sections, and support details.
-   Perform duct and pipe sizing verification and ensure modeled systems align with approved design calculations.
-   Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural and structural disciplines, resolving clashes and identifying required openings and penetrations.
-   Maintain accurate drainage slopes and invert levels while considering site conditions.
-   Lead mechanical clash detection and resolution using BIM coordination tools.
-   Generate spool drawings, prefabrication deliverables, and quantity take-offs for procurement and BOQ purposes.
-   Update Revit families and models according to approved manufacturer submittals and design changes.
-   Deliver verified as-built BIM models with accurate equipment and asset information, supporting testing, commissioning, and handover.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
-   5–8 years of mechanical engineering experience, including hands-on Mechanical BIM experience.
-   Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, particularly mechanical systems and fabrication-level modeling.
-   Working experience with Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD.
-   Practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
-   Experience in BIM coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution.
-   Technical office experience, including shop drawings, material submittals, BOQ, quantity take-offs, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
-   Familiarity with ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
-   Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
-   Good English communication skills for technical correspondence.
