## Description

**Senior Mechanical Engineer – BIM** with strong expertise in **BIM and Autodesk Revit MEP** to join a remote team. The ideal candidate will combine solid mechanical engineering knowledge with hands-on BIM experience and the ability to support, test, and improve engineering software solutions.

The role involves working closely with **Product, Software Development, and QA teams**, while also providing technical support, training, and product demonstrations to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

-   Perform functional and technical testing of BIM software to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability.
-   Validate software features against mechanical engineering requirements and BIM industry standards.
-   Identify, document, and report software bugs, defects, and technical issues.
-   Collaborate with Software Development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve reported issues.
-   Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer inquiries related to BIM software.
-   Conduct product demonstrations, customer onboarding sessions, and technical training.
-   Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and technical documentation.
-   Verify BIM workflows and ensure compatibility with Autodesk Revit standards and engineering practices.
-   Gather customer feedback and communicate product improvement opportunities to Product and Development teams.
-   Support the continuous improvement of software quality, functionality, and user experience.
-   Stay up to date with Autodesk Revit, BIM technologies, mechanical engineering practices, and industry trends.
-   Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, technical discussions, and training sessions.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering** or a related engineering discipline.
-   **7+ years of professional experience** in Mechanical Engineering, with strong experience in BIM.
-   Advanced proficiency in **Autodesk Revit MEP**.
-   Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, workflows, standards, and coordination processes.
-   Hands-on experience with **MEP and/or Fire Protection projects**.
-   Strong knowledge of **Revit Families, templates, and project standards**.
-   Experience with software testing, validation, QA, or defect reporting is highly preferred.
-   Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting, or resolving software-related issues.
-   Experience delivering technical training, product demonstrations, or customer onboarding.
-   Excellent **verbal and written English communication skills**.
-   Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-   Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
