### **Job Vacancy: General Accountant**

A leading accounting and auditing firm located in **Amman, Jordan**, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated **General Accountant** to join our professional team. We are specifically looking for a candidate who has gained their core accounting experience working inside **commercial and industrial companies**.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

-   Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations for clients and ensure financial accuracy.
-   Prepare, review, and post journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
-   Handle accounting functions related to **industrial and commercial client operations**, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and supply chain financials.
-   Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on aging reports.
-   Assist in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements, closing procedures, and tax filings.

## Requirements

### Job **Requirements:**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-   **Minimum of 3 years** of solid, proven experience in general accounting.
-   **Essential:** Previous corporate experience working directly within **Industrial and Commercial companies**.
-   High proficiency in using professional accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
-   Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver accurate financial reports on time.
