## Description

**Main purpose of the job:** 

To test websites, layouts and website widgets built on iX's proprietary Engine 5/Smart Manager platform for the Websites team within the Pages Team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

-   Communicate well with team members to ensure internal website standards are met.
-   Collaborate with the team for the most effective use of time.
-   Adhere to scheduled project timings to ensure deadlines are met.
-   Assist with front end debugging by using knowledge of HTML and CSS rendering and coding issues.
-   Manage testing across a defined browser and device baseline (Chrome, Safari and Edge; Android and iOS) at desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints to maximise the effectiveness of website testing.
-   Log all defects with clear reproduction steps, screenshots and device/browser details, and retest fixes (regression testing) to confirm resolution.
-   Verify all website content for accuracy against the approved mockup/brief, including contact numbers, dealer details, links and forms.
-   Remain current and informed on industry trends, new offerings and interactive technologies.

**Essential Activities:** 

-   Pre-launch QA against the mockup/brief
-   Regression testing after development fixes
-   Browser and device matrix testing
-   Post-launch spot checks

## Requirements

-   Gr.12/School leaving certificate
-   Understanding of HTML 5 and CSS is essential 
-   Previous Testing experience is essential
-   Willingness to learn proprietary CMS platforms (Engine 5/Smart Manager) is essential
-   Relevant QA/software testing certification is advantageous
-   Excellent command of written and spoken English 
-   Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure 
-   Show high attention to detail 
-   Strong organisational skills
-   Teamwork and partnership ability 
-   Show personal commitment to the role and the company
