## Description

**Role Overview**

The Accountant will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting across the Coaxle group, covering both Lightstone and Halls Financial Services. The Accountant will work closely with the Head: Shared Services, taking primary ownership of month-end close, reconciliation and reporting integrity for both subsidiaries, and will review work prepared by shared services bookkeeping staff. Responsibility includes ensuring that entity-level results are accurate, complete and delivered on time, and that group-level consolidation is properly supported.

## Requirements

**Qualification & Experience**

-   BCom Accounting or equivalent bachelor’s degree (essential)
-   Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles, or working toward CIMA/ACCA, advantageous.
-   Minimum 4–5 years accounting experience, including review/supervisory exposure, ideally within a shared services or multi-entity environment.
-   Experience working across more than one legal entity/subsidiary advantageous.
-   Financial services or holding company/group exposure advantageous.
-   Sage Evolution (or applicable group ERP) advanced user.
-   Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, Outlook.
-   Working knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles (intercompany eliminations, minority interest).
-   VAT and statutory compliance knowledge across relevant entities.
