# Senior Accountant

## Description

At CardoO, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making. You will manage core accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and maintain strong control over inventory and cost structures within a fast-paced retail or distribution environment.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Lead daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
-   Oversee invoicing, billing processes, and payment collections
-   Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
-   Manage inventory accounting and conduct stock reconciliations
-   Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
-   Handle VAT and tax filings while ensuring full regulatory compliance
-   Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and analyze profitability margins
-   Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock control
-   Maintain accurate financial records within Odoo ERP system
-   Support internal and external audits and financial reviews  
      
    **Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-   Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred (but not mandatory)

## Requirements

-   2–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, trading, or distribution sectors
-   Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP
-   Solid understanding of inventory accounting and cost control
-   In-depth knowledge of VAT and tax regulations
-   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
-   Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
-   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
