## Description

The Chief Accountant at Cardoo Technologies is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, cost control, and compliance within a dynamic tech and retail-driven environment.

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   Manage and supervise all accounting activities, including AP, AR, and General Ledger
-   Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
-   Monitor company financial performance and provide actionable insights to management
-   Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and expense control (especially for production and technology costs)
-   Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards
-   Handle tax filings, audits, and financial reviews
-   Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial planning
-   Collaborate with different departments to support business growth and cost optimization
-   Ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP systems (Odoo)

## Requirements

### **Requirements**

-   Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, technology, or consumer electronics industries
-   Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
-   Solid knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
-   Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo
-   Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
-   Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
-   Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
-   Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
-   Proven track record and good reputation within the retail field

### **Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
-   Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
