We are seeking an experienced **Senior Technical Office Architect** to lead our technical team, oversee shop drawings, manage site coordination, and ensure seamless project delivery.

Job Brief  
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Office Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural design, engineering disciplines, and construction execution. You will be responsible for leading the technical office team, reviewing and approving technical submittals, managing shop drawings, resolving complex site interface issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Lead, mentor, and manage the technical office team, overseeing day-to-day operations and task allocation.
-   Review, refine, and approve detailed shop drawings, architectural details, and working drawings before submission or site release.
-   Coordinate multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering drawings (MEP, Structural, Interior Design) to identify and resolve spatial and technical clashes.
-   Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process, technical submittals, material approvals, and mock-up evaluations.
-   Ensure all technical deliverables comply with project specifications, local building codes, contract documents, and quality standards.
-   Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Site Engineers to resolve technical challenges and prevent delay.
-   Assist in quantity surveying, bill of quantities (BOQ) verification, variation orders, and value engineering proposals.
-   Conduct regular technical reviews and site visits to monitor implementation alignment with approved technical drawings.

## Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

**Minimum of 10 years of proven experience** in technical office management within construction or engineering consultancy firms.

Strong background in large-scale \[Commercial / Residential / Infrastructure / Mixed-Use\] projects.

Advanced proficiency in BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Office applications.

In-depth knowledge of local building codes, statutory approvals, and construction methodologies.

Strong technical detailing skills and a thorough understanding of architectural materials and finishing systems.

Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.

Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
