## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Cardiothoracic Surgeon** to provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions. The role includes both cardiac and thoracic surgical management, depending on the surgeon's area of expertise. Cardiothoracic surgery encompasses adult cardiac, general thoracic, and congenital cardiac practice.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring cardiothoracic surgical intervention.
-   Perform elective and emergency **cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures** within the scope of expertise.
-   Manage conditions involving the **heart, lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall, and major blood vessels**.
-   Perform procedures such as **CABG, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, and thoracic procedures** where appropriately trained.
-   Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
-   Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
-   Review and interpret echocardiography, angiography, CT, MRI, laboratory results, and other diagnostic investigations.
-   Manage complex and emergency cardiothoracic cases.
-   Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, pulmonologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary heart-team and complex case discussions.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and expected outcomes.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement, teaching, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **MS / MCh / DNB / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery.**
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
-   Excellent surgical judgment and technical skills.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
