## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced **Intensive Care Consultant** to provide expert medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex critical conditions, advanced life-support interventions, and multidisciplinary critical care.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
-   Lead the clinical management of patients admitted to the ICU.
-   Provide advanced life-support and organ-support interventions, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic support.
-   Manage critical emergencies, sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction, and other life-threatening conditions.
-   Perform or supervise critical care procedures as clinically appropriate.
-   Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response.
-   Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
-   Guide and supervise the ICU medical team and ensure high standards of patient safety.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow evidence-based critical care practices.

## Requirements

**Qualifications & Requirements**

-   MBBS or equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification.
-   Relevant Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, or a related specialty.
-   Additional fellowship or advanced specialist training in Critical Care Medicine is an advantage.
-   Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level in intensive care.
-   Strong expertise in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life-support management.
-   Excellent clinical leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
