## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Endodontist** to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and periapical tissues. Endodontics is a recognized dental specialty under the UAE Unified PQR.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and endodontic assessments.
-   Diagnose and manage diseases and injuries of the **dental pulp and periapical tissues**.
-   Perform primary and complex **root canal treatments**.
-   Manage retreatment of previously treated root canals.
-   Perform emergency endodontic procedures for acute dental pain and infection.
-   Treat traumatic dental injuries and associated pulpal conditions.
-   Perform **apicoectomy and other surgical endodontic procedures** where appropriately trained.
-   Use dental operating microscopes and advanced endodontic techniques where available.
-   Interpret periapical radiographs and **CBCT imaging** for treatment planning.
-   Manage endodontic complications, including perforations, separated instruments, and complex canal anatomy.
-   Provide appropriate pre- and post-treatment care and follow-up.
-   Collaborate with prosthodontists, periodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and general dentists.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent recognized dental degree.**
-   **MDS / MSD / Specialty Certificate or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Endodontics.**
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in conventional and complex endodontic treatment.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, treatment-planning, and patient-management skills.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
