## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist General Surgeon** to provide comprehensive surgical evaluation, treatment, and post-operative care. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery, excellent clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring surgical intervention.
-   Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
-   Manage conditions involving the **gastrointestinal tract, abdomen, hernias, gallbladder, appendix, breast, and soft tissues**.
-   Perform laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop appropriate surgical plans.
-   Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
-   Manage surgical emergencies including acute abdomen, appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, perforation, and trauma.
-   Review and interpret laboratory results, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations.
-   Collaborate with anesthesiologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.**
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in general and laparoscopic surgery.
-   Surgical candidates should be able to provide an appropriate **surgical logbook**, where required for licensing.
-   Excellent clinical decision-making, surgical skills, and communication abilities.
-   Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
