## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Periodontist** to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of gum diseases and supporting structures of the teeth. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in periodontal therapy, surgical procedures, and implant-related treatments.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive periodontal examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
-   Diagnose and manage **gingivitis, periodontitis, periodontal abscesses, and other gum conditions**.
-   Perform non-surgical periodontal treatments, including scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
-   Perform periodontal surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
-   Manage advanced periodontal disease and complex periodontal cases.
-   Perform procedures such as **flap surgery, crown lengthening, gingivectomy, and regenerative periodontal therapy**.
-   Provide periodontal care for patients undergoing dental implant treatment.
-   Perform soft-tissue grafting and other mucogingival procedures where appropriately trained.
-   Assess and manage bone loss associated with periodontal disease.
-   Interpret dental radiographs, CBCT, and other relevant investigations.
-   Collaborate with prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, implantologists, and general dentists.
-   Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal disease prevention, and long-term maintenance.
-   Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **BDS / DDS / DMD or equivalent recognized dental degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Periodontics**, such as MDS/MS or equivalent.
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in periodontal diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures.
-   Excellent clinical judgment and patient-management skills.
-   Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
