## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Specialist Nephrologist** to diagnose and manage patients with kidney and renal disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing both acute and chronic renal conditions and a patient-centered approach.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments of patients with renal disorders.
-   Diagnose and manage **acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension-related renal conditions**.
-   Manage patients with advanced and end-stage kidney disease.
-   Provide pre- and post-dialysis evaluation and ongoing renal care.
-   Assess patients for appropriate renal replacement therapy and coordinate dialysis care.
-   Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
-   Manage complications associated with chronic kidney disease, including anemia, mineral-bone disorders, and fluid/electrolyte abnormalities.
-   Coordinate care for patients requiring **hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or renal transplantation** where applicable.
-   Collaborate with urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
-   Provide patient and family counseling regarding kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
-   Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   **MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Nephrology.**
-   Minimum **3 years of post-specialization clinical experience** preferred.
-   Strong experience in the diagnosis and management of renal disorders.
-   Experience in dialysis and renal replacement therapy is highly desirable.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
