## Description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced **Consultant Psychiatrist** to provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and risk assessments.
-   Diagnose and manage a broad range of **psychiatric, behavioral, and emotional disorders**.
-   Manage conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, and other complex psychiatric conditions.
-   Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological and appropriate psychological interventions.
-   Manage acute psychiatric presentations, including suicidal ideation, self-harm risk, psychosis, and behavioral emergencies.
-   Monitor treatment response, medication effectiveness, and potential adverse effects.
-   Provide expert consultation and second opinions for complex psychiatric cases.
-   Coordinate multidisciplinary care with psychologists, therapists, social workers, neurologists, and other medical specialists.
-   Provide appropriate psychotherapy or coordinate psychological interventions within the scope of training.
-   Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and relapse prevention.
-   Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical documentation.
-   Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, research, and continuing medical education.
-   Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and patient-safety requirements.

## Requirements

### Qualifications & Requirements

-   **MBBS or equivalent medical degree.**
-   Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Psychiatry**, such as MD, DNB, MRCPsych, Arab Board, or equivalent.
-   Significant post-specialization experience with **Consultant-level Psychiatry experience**.
-   Strong experience managing complex psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
-   Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary leadership skills.
-   Commitment to patient confidentiality and evidence-based psychiatric care.
